Refund Policy

Last updated: September 2026

During your free trial

Nothing is charged during the trial, so there is nothing to refund. Cancel any time before it ends - from the billing portal linked in your welcome page, or by emailing us - and you pay nothing at all.

14 days, no hassle

If Metzger Planning isn't right for you, email support@metzgerplanning.com within 14 days of your first charge (the day your trial ends, not the day you signed up) from the email you used at checkout, and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to give a reason, though feedback on what didn't work is always appreciated.

Renewal charges

Subscriptions renew automatically (see the Terms of Sale). We email a receipt for every renewal. If a renewal charge catches you off guard, email us within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full and cancel the subscription.

You can always avoid a renewal charge by cancelling before the period ends, from the billing portal linked on your welcome page or by emailing us. Cancelling keeps your access for the rest of the period you have paid for.

Part-used periods

Outside the windows above, payments for a current period are not refunded on cancellation, and there is no partial or pro-rata refund for unused time. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. If you think we have billed you in error, tell us within 60 days of the charge and we will put it right.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank. We refund the amount we received; any fee, interest, or currency-conversion cost charged by your own bank is outside our control.

After a refund

Your license ends with the refund - please uninstall the software. Any data files Metzger Planning created stay on your machine and remain yours.

Problems installing?

Before refunding, we're happy to help - most installation issues are solved in one email or a short call. Reach out any time.
